The College of Health Sciences (CHS) through its Department of Health Promotion and Disability Studies, and the Steering Committee of the GNAD-KNUST Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) held a bilateral meeting with the Ghana National Association of the Deaf (GNAD) at the CHS boardroom on 15th February 2022, to deliberate and fashion out modalities for the implementation of a training of trainers programme for Ghanaian Sign Language (GhSL) Instructors in Ghana.

The Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ellis Owusu-Dabo with the Germany Ambassador to Ghana, His Excellency Daniel Krull has officially launched the German-West African Centre for Global Health and Pandemic Prevention (G-WAC) at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) The G-WAC was inaugurated on Thursday, 25th November 2021 with funding from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) worth about 2.7 million euros.

The College of Health Sciences (CHS) of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has held its 9th Biennial Scientific Conference at the KNUST Post-Graduate Business School Auditorium. This year’s event was held on 29th and 30th September 2021.

The Scientific Conference is a biennial event organised by the College to bring together health professionals and scientists across the globe to deliberate on the health issues of global concern.
